Benefits

As of 6/2016 here are the current benefits of the Veteran Circle program:

CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU

The Financial Coach will be responsible for providing one-on-one financial coaching services to consumers who are economically vulnerable. The goal is to help these clients proactively take control of their finances at crucial moments in their lives, and empower them to make better-informed decisions regarding consumer financial products and services.
Financial Coaches will lead clients through a collaborative process that guides them in setting or refining their goals, developing action plans to meet those goals, coaching them in goal advancement, and ultimately achieving the goal(s). As such, Financial Coaches will help clients stay on top of their goals and monitor and document their progress over time using a case management and outcome tracking system. For many clients, the work with the Financial Coach will empower them to proactively take control of their financial lives.  This program is absolutely FREE of any fees and there are NO sales pitches or products to buy!

BEST COLLEGES:

Through proprietary research, we build user-friendly guides and rankings that lead students of all ages on their personal path to a college degree. We are dedicated to helping students find the school that best meets their needs"

The Department of Defense recently reported that 43% of military spouses expressed an interest in attending school; however, many stated that the steep cost education was one of the main issues holding them back. Combine this with frequent relocation and single parenting while their spouses are abroad, and going to college quickly becomes a daunting task.

To address the very real issue of affordability, our college planning team at BestColleges.com created a holistic financial aid guide specifically for military spouses and children. We provide context for how students can best take advantage of available federal resources while offering an extensive list of 30+ scholarships and grants.
